Many people may feel concerned about having a video session with a therapist, and will stop having therapy sessions as they feel it may not be the same.

As a therapist I have felt honoured and appreciated that my clients have allowed me into their homes (via video), so I can continue to support them. And therapy has continued to be similar (to having sessions in the office), except you are in the comfort of your own home.

It is important to look after one’s mental health, especially during these difficult times.

So please consider continuing to have support from your psychologist and ask yourself ‘what am I worried about?’ It may be worthwhile talking about this with your therapist.
